Memory Dolls by Joan
Joan is able to make rag dolls for you as keepsakes as an alternative to Memory bears. These dolls can be customised to a degree - hair colour and style, dressed in dungarees or a dress.
Size: Large 12”(30cm) sitting €45
Medium: 10” (25cm) sitting €40
Eyes: Safety Glass eyes or stitched eyes
Clothes: Dress or Dungarees
Hair: Yellow, brown or black
Hair Style: Bunches or plaits
Some guidelines when ordering a doll:
General: Clothes left for memory items should be washed and if needed, ironed. We do not accept underwear. If specific fabrics are required to be combined for an item you should pack them together into a single bag. These can be dropped into the shop where an order will taken by the person on duty. If it isn't possible to drop them in please message with a phone number and we will give you an address to post to.
Requirements: 3 garments per doll for a mixed fabric bear, This amount would be sufficient for 2 dolls .1 large garment for a single colour bear.
Eyes: Safety Glass eyes or stitched eyes - please consider which is best for the recipient.
Optional embroidery: Single name hand embroidered €1 per letter. Message or verse – will be machine embroidered on fabric. Price to be advised before we go ahead with ordering it.
Time Frame: If the items are required by a specific date (eg an anniversary) please state that clearly when ordering.
Deposit: €20 per combined order. Balance to be paid on completion.
Bows or embellishments: if you would like anything added to the doll please mention at the time of ordering.
