Knit-a-long with Valerie

Do you know the basics of knitting but can't follow a pattern to make a sweater or cardigan for yourself? Our knitting Guru, Valerie of Custom Bunnies, says many people are afraid to tackle a big project because they find patterns confusing, and limit their creativity to scarves and blankets.

If you identify with this we've put together a course which is ideal for you! Valerie suggests you choose one of our patterns for Super Bulky/Super Chunky wool which will knit up quickly in a wool such as Drops Andes (presently discounted by 30%) or another super bulky/ super chunky yarn. The patterns include easy knits and some more advanced with cables. Bring pattern and yarn to the class and Valerie will talk you through how to read a pattern and get you started. Over 4 weeks, with a bit of knitting done at home, you should be able to complete your chosen pattern. If you need a little more time, Valerie is happy to extend the course.

Place: The Crafty Rock Shop

Cost: €40 plus the cost of your chosen pattern or wool

Booking is essential either by prepaying for the course online or by paying a deposit of €30 in the shop and the balance on the commencement of the course.

Please note deposits are non-refundable unless a replacement is found. 

A minimum number of 4 participants is required for the course to proceed. Maximum number is 6.
