Colette Gough Prints - Growth
This picture was drawn while exhibiting at Brú na Bóinne Visitors Centre.
It looks at how the river meanders through the valley now and has done since Newgrange was built 5000 years ago.
The flowers reflect the beauty of this tranquil valley and its growth and evolution through the ages.
Growing up within the local heritage of the Boyne Valley, Colette’s work is inspired by ancient Celtic art. Colette uses nib and ink to create intricate colourful drawings creating a contemporary interpretation of the iconic imagery of the Book of Kells.
Please note that colour may differ slightly from photos due to different monitor settings.
