Screen Printing Class
Saturday Oct 23rd Time: 3pm - 6pm
Screen printing is a technique where a mesh is used to transfer an image to a substrate, except for areas blocked by a stencil. Kay will teach you how to do this and you should complete 3 projects during the class including a tote bag, 12” square card which could be framed and a 12” square piece of fabric which could be used to make a cushion or other item. It should be an action packed class! Kay will demonstrate how you can colour in your print with fabric paints, or use stamps to add names etc. If time allows you can do this if you wish.
The class will take place in Blackrock Community Centre where there is plenty of room for social distancing. You may however prefer to wear a mask.
The cost of the class includes tuition, materials and refreshments.
You can book online or call into the shop and pay a deposit of €30, the balance of which should be paid by October 1st. Please note in case of cancellation the €30 is non-refundable unless a replacement is found.
