Step into an enchanting underwater world with these charming Crochet Aquaria, uniquely created by Miki of Miki Loops Crafts. Each miniature aquarium is housed in a clear glass container and features an intricately crocheted sea creature suspended as though swimming freely, surrounded by an artful arrangement of sea plants, coral, sand, shells and other tiny marine details.

No two aquaria are the same – each one is individually made and lovingly decorated, making these wonderful novelty pieces truly one-of-a-kind.

The smaller aquarium pictured contains a bright and cheerful crocheted angelfish, nestled amongst colourful sea flora, bringing a playful pop of colour to any shelf or windowsill. It measures 7.5 x 9cm (3"x 3.5")

The second, larger piece features a beautifully detailed crocheted clownfish (yes, the species famously associated with “Nemo”) swimming in a vivid coral reef scene. This version includes a cleverly inserted light in the lid, transforming it into a quirky bedside or accent lamp – perfect for sea lovers young and old. It measures 14 x 10cm (5.5" x 4")

These aquaria come in a variety of sizes and designs, often featuring different sea animals such as turtles, seahorses, jellyfish and more, with each setting created and arranged by hand. They have proven very popular in the shop and we think they are something only Miki could dream up – a delightful fusion of craft, creativity and whimsy.
