Theresa Kelly carries on a tradition of lace making that evolved in the Carrickmacross area in Co. Monaghan in the 1790s.
Pushing the boundaries of the lace, Theresa has explored many new possibilities creating her own distinctive design. She uses the lace as an expressive medium, drawing inspiration from many aspects of the natural world.
These beautiful framed pieces are mounted on hand made silk paper Theresa also makes to complement her designs.
