We have been making these Memory bears, with great respect, for several years now and really enjoy making something which is so special to people. It's always a challenge to take a number of different garments made from different types of fabrics , patterns and colours and put them together into something which works. Sometimes our customers have specific instructions, at other time it is left completely up to us to decide how to combine them.
We can make a Memory bear from baby clothes, school uniforms, sport kits, garments worn at a special event or using clothing from a deceased loved one.
The time needed to make a bear varies with the time of year and the number of orders we have at the time.
The bears we make come in 2 sizes:
When sitting they measure approximately
Medium 10" (25cm) €40
Large 12" (30cm) €45
The time taken for each is the same, but as more filling is required for the larger bears the prices reflect this.
If the fabric requires interfacing to prevent stretching there will be an additional cost of €5.

When your bear is finished we will send you a photo and you can collect and pay in store if it’s possible or you can phone the shop to pay 0852527077 and we will ship it to you
Postage cost is €4.95 within Ireland.
Some guidelines when ordering a bear:
General: Clothes left for memory items should be washed and if needed, ironed. We do not accept underwear. If specific fabrics are required to be combined for an item you should pack them together into a single bag. These can be dropped into the shop where an order will taken by the person on duty. If it isn't possible to drop them in please message with a phone number and we will give you an address to post to.
Requirements: 3 garments per Bear for a mixed fabric bear, This amount would be sufficient for 2 bears. 1 large garment for a single colour bear.
Eyes: Safety Glass eyes or stitched eyes - please consider which is best for the recipient.
Optional embroidery: Single name hand embroidered €1 per letter. Message or verse – will be machine embroidered on fabric. Price to be advised before we go ahead with ordering it.
Time Frame: If the items are required by a specific date (eg an anniversary) please state that clearly when ordering.
Deposit: €20 per combined order. Balance to be paid on completion.
Bows or embellishments: if you would like anything added to the bear please mention at the time of ordering.
