Shell Chimes Inspired by Gaia – Handmade by Joanna
We’re delighted to introduce a beautiful range of shell chimes inspired by Gaia and lovingly created by the talented Joanna. Over many years, Joanna has gathered seashells along the East Coast, carefully cleaning and individually drilling each one to create these unique and meaningful pieces.
In Feng Shui, seashells are symbols of abundance, prosperity and protection. They are believed to attract positive energy, encourage clear communication and bring harmony to relationships. For this reason, Joanna recommends that these chimes be hung inside the home, where they can gently share their calming presence. They are not suitable for outdoor use, as the shells are naturally delicate.
Each shell chime features one of a variety of shell types, including pelican foot shells, scallops, limpet shells and cockle shells. A larger top shell – which Joanna affectionately calls the “mama shell” – holds the others together in a graceful cascade.
These shell chimes are not only rich in symbolism, but also make a striking and peaceful addition to any living space, bringing a touch of nature indoors along with a sense of balance and serenity.
